This command is used to merge and split points and coordinates joining
two figures. In order to merge points, press the button 
, and to split points, press 
. Figures can be connected either by both
or either of the coordinates. In the first case, only the interface point is
to be entered for each figure and the button between the selection fields
has to be activated. In the latter case, also the coordinate has to be
entered.
- Figure
Displays the figures to be merged.
- Point
This field enables to select the interface point for each figure amongst the figure points and the additional points selected previously. When the button
is activated, the x and y coordinates
of the selected points are combined. By activating the button
, the combined points
are separated again.- Coordinate
This field enables to select the coordinate at which the figures have to be combined. When the button
is activated, the selected points of
both figures are merged at the chosen coordinate. The activation of
the button causes
the merged points to be separated again.
